Top 5 Diving Destination In The World

There are many good reasons to dive, but more that caught peoples imagination is the marine life. Schools of tropical fish, sharks, sea house, an impressive piece of tropical terrestrial life that most never see on the Discovery Channel. Yet, as a diver, I am convinced that swimming with a shoal of fish or parts of the habitat of a manta ray for a few more minutes of play. Seeing marine animals in their natural habitat makes them seem more real and worthy of protection than any television program could. In each of these five amazing destinations, divers can come together and interact with some of the animals the most powerful and beautiful in the world. The beginners case just below the surface of many of these places, so that even can participate.

1. Palau
There are many good reasons to dive in Palau, a small island nation in the South Pacific. The islands were known as the site of a sunken ship since 1969, when Jacques Cousteau came to Palau Chuuk Lagoon in 1969 to film the remains of Japans Pacific fleet, most of which is sunk during the Second World War. The remains have been colonized by a variety of marine life such as corals, rays, turtles and more than 200 species of fish. Above all, Palau is known for its sharks, about 130 endangered species living in the islands. To protect the ecosystem of the archipelago, the Government of Palau in 2009 the countrys waters shark sanctuary called the "A", the prohibition of all commercial harvest of sharks. Divers can find gray reef sharks, sharks and other species, both patrol wrecks and sites like Blue Corner Wall.

2. The Great Barrier Reef
Although most Americans would find it difficult to Palau on paper, even non-divers to discover the Great Barrier Reef. Running nearly 1,500 kilometers along the east coast of Australia, Great Barrier Reef is the largest barrier reef in the world and is said to appear in space. Go to its size, the Great Barrier Reef is almost unfathomable largest collection of marine life. Moreover, moray eels, thrushes and other inhabitants of the town of coral, rare creatures such as giant clams and sea snakes abound.
Visits to the Great Barrier Reef in the car is a good alternative for those who do not want to embark on a cruise ship: The RCC is probably the most Reef Road Trip-friendly, and many people choose city hop on the coast, made their boat for the day of diving. Cairns on the northern end torn, divers can take a boat to Hamilton Reef, a favorite spot for marine mammals such as dolphins and Minke whales. Further south, Townsville is the base for trips to the Yongala SS, a wreck in 1911 turned to coral, turtles sport now, large sea snakes and other animals super-companies. Gladstone, located further south, the connection point for both Heron Island, said to be among the best dive sites on the GBR.
3. Galapagos Island
Known for inspiring the evolution theory of Darwin, the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador are now a World Heritage site and a reserve for one of the largest populations in the world of endemic fauna. With the waters surrounding the islands protected from the local fish have very little fear of humans, and yet many divers approach. Sea lions, turtles and manta rays are everywhere, and sea stars, sea cucumbers, crabs and Galapagos seem to cover the sand in some places. Sharks, including hammers, are common, but not dangerous. Diving in the Galapagos is difficult, and really only for experienced divers.
The islands are unusual for the tropics that most of the diving is on instead of falling volcanic reef, so the dive sites are deep and very exposed to ocean currents. Thank you to the Antarctic Humboldt Current, which passes over the islands, the water is unusually cold for the equator, a 7mm wetsuit as standard equipment. If you plan to go to the Galapagos, remember that all visitors, both Ecuadorian and foreign, need a transit card INGALA to visit the islands, the card costs $ 10 for foreigners and must be purchased before going to the Galapagos. Visitors also pay park fees ($ 100 for foreigners) on arrival in the islands.
4. Cocos Island, Costa Rica
Costa Rica is famous as a destination for eco-tourism, and the few places in the country are better for her to Coco Island, a land covered with tropical forest 340 miles from the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Accessible only by boat cruise, Cocos is one of the largest uninhabited islands off the Arctic residents are a group of about 30 rangers. While visitors may land for hiking and other activities, must be off the island by nightfall.
Cocos Island is the ocean, so that visitors can expect an eclectic mix of animals, including squid, sea turtles, tuna and hammerhead sharks and white tip. The island is particularly famous for whale sharks usually found in deep, offshore sites, such as the Dirty Rock, 100 meters across the north-west of the underwater channel. Like the Galapagos, Cocos diving is usually deep and strong side of the stream, so it is not for beginners. With kayaks and whales nearby, divers should not be difficult to keep occupied during surface intervals.
5. The Red Sea
The Europeans have plunged into the Red Sea for decades, but only in recent years that American divers have begun to join them. The 1200 ribbon-mile-long water has an impressive range of habitats available for divers to visit, coral reefs in the south wall and deep wrecks in the North. The Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh has become a base for the Red Sea, diving, from there, visitors can board a boat cruise or to travel in coastal waters.
Extra-salty Red Sea marine life is very similar to that found in the Indian Ocean, a species endemic to some like a blue butterfly on her cheek fish thrown into the bargain. There are a lot of sponges, corals, dolphins, sharks and tropical fish such as Anthias and Clownfish. 1200 km long, there is much to look at the Red Sea, and divers can not even need several days to exhaust the possibilities is a huge offshore sites such as Daedalus Reef.
